Biapil (pronounce as Bia-pil) is an adjective to describe great flood in the end of the world. There is no apparent reason how did the Bijagoi use this words although during our ancestor lifetime there was no great flood ever happen. However there is that story from the Bible that talking about the great flood then of the world. Probably that's how the words "Biapil" start to be used.
