Unguont (pronouns as Unguont) is a noun for herbal medication that is used to remove babies umbilical cord naturally. The elder's convincingly belief that it is one of the most potent and essential medicine in Bijagoi cultural belief.
They said it is very true that when the ashes of the "Unguont" is rubbed to the baby umbilical cord and it will be naturally and quickly remove compare to modern medicine. It is one of the most undisputed belief and I have not know any of the elderly people deny it's effectiveness.
Unfortunately I am still seeking the picture of this object / plant how it looks.
