Gilagar

Gilagar is a wooden pedestal/platform build in the river - a place to wash cloth. In the past and even in the present time the Bidoyoh still using Gilagar in their village - because some have no access to electricity or washing machines so they use their hands to squeeze, twist, and fold the cloth on the Gilagar board while washing.



Terms associated to Gilagar

1. Bikalan = A common bathing spot in the river for all the villagers
